I know! This morning I watched the news and I saw that he died <33 R.I.P. :'( He was such a good man! =( (I know him, btw.)
And yay for canadians! *is a canadian and is proud*

You knew him? I'm very sad for your loss on a personal level, then. It's absolutely devastating all around.

I wasn't familiar with Jack Layton before reading this letter, but I started crying somewhere in the first third of his letter and didn't stop until after I finished. He seems to have been an amazing person, one that many could aspire to emulate. Thank you for posting this. ♥
