After sitting for over 8 hrs at St. Paul airport, all the guys from all 3 flights are in and they are packed on a bus headed to Ft. McCoy. Now for him to endure a 2.5 hr bus ride. I'm getting spoiled being able to call his cell and check on him. I won't have that luxury after July 1. And this too...shall pass.
He made it to Minnesota. and now have to wait for the other 2 flights of guys to make it in before they head out on a bus to Wisconsin. The flights are staggard, so they'll be waiting about 6 hrs. Joy. Cleaning house is keeping me busy. Back to work tomorrow.
His flight for Wisconsin left at 6:50am. He'll be at Ft. McCoy for training for a month...then off to Kuwait for another 2 wks training before officially starting his 179 days in Iraq.
