So I walked into the kitchen just now and Indy is talking to a bug:

"Hi Bug"

"How you doing today, Bug?"

It was just this centipede-like thing on the wall.

There was a big part of me that wanted to kill it, just because I don't like finding bugs inside. I couldn't though, at least not while Indy was standing there talking to his new bug friend

I wrap my arms around him, feel the warmth of his skin and I know I am not supposed to be anywhere else. I lay with him in his own little bed as he snuggles up against me. When your 2 year old refuses to take a nap you know you are going to have a bad day. I did get some cleaning done around the house though, so there's that. Some days being a stay at home mom is harder than I thought it was going to be. There is nothing like walking down the beach, barefoot, with your 2 year old, across the squishy seaweed, watching your step across the bumpy rocks, and finally standing in the beautiful warm water and realizing you aren't standing in sand and rocks, you are standing in sand and hundreds of little snails ( Read more... )
