The good news - I'm brushing out the rough edges of the very last scene of my new fic (tho it's still titleless, stupid thing). it's almost 45,000 words long!

The better news - I got the time off for NYC No problemo. I also managed to pick up 5 hrs of OT today to help pad my spending when I get there.

The best news - my ex is proving ( Read more... )

Yey! I'm so glad you did it! Now I don't have to like...hurt you. I should start back up replying tomorrow evening (my time) so look for a response when you wake up tomorrow or whatever.

I've decided I'm going to start a different livejournal for all my adventures in Japan so my non-kpop, non-slashtastic friends can follow without having to hear all the fangirling and the OTPing and fic and such. Will let you know when I start the blog and such! MISS YOU NEECHAN~

Doing this here cause I'm already here rather than email. <3

*pokes* I have no idea what 'tomorrow evening my time' means, but I'm pretty sure it's less than two days. ;-p

I miss you too!

Well, truthfully, at this point I'm going as much for my kids and to have a weekend in NYC as I am for the concert. I mean, yeah, if the concert goes on as planned I will definitely go regardless of the line up (though I will be deliriously happy if all those names go).

If not, I'm going to just enjoy the vacation that isn't 100% totally centered around my kids while still enjoying seeing them for a day or two.

I live in hope that KPop will realize that Seattle is a totally viable market. *sighs* some day.

The possibility of hte concert is like... icing for me.

The weekend itself represents most of the awesomeness. Having the time off, doing something crazy like going cross country to NYC, seeing my kids for a day or two, possibly seeing some of my friends that I almost never get to see... I don't do things like that.

And I'm tired of putting off what I want to do just to be 'responsible'.

Which is not to say I won't be a little heartbroken if it turns out that they decide not to do the concert. Because I totally will. Or if they shift the weekends.
