Sarah Who?

Like many people, I've been wondering who the heck this Sarah Palin woman is. It seems obvious from first glance that she's been picked to snabble up some special interest votes -- like woman (cue rabid screaching about women being a "special interest" category here). I... can't even begin to go into how wrong this whole mentality is. It pushes ( Read more... )

I am appalled by the whole thing. Talk about pandering, like I would vote for an anit-gay, pro-life, evangelical nut job just because we both have vaginas.

Ick.

You would if you were a lesbian feminazi. Lesbian feminazi's like vaginas no matter what. And since all feminists are lesbian feminazis, it stands to reason....

It's classic logic, really (which wimmenfolk are ill-equipped to understand cause of the fact that their wombs go wandering all through them, but I'll try to demonstrate):

Premise A: All feminists are lesbian feminazis
Premise B: Lesbian feminazis like the vagina to the exclusion of all else (and hey, who doesn't!)
Premise C: People who like the vagina will vote for people with a vagina.

If A and B and C, then D

Conclusion D: Put somebody with a vagina on the ticket, and you'll get the feminist vote.

I'm thinking the problem lies with their premises.

Not all Feminists! Only those liberals ones . . . because, see, Palin's a member of "Feminists for Life", an organization for people who *really* care about wimmins.

I agree that the choice of Palin is at least in part an attempt to get some votes from Hillary supporters or women generally. But I think there's more going on, and I'd say it has less to do with female voters on the left ( ... )

Do you think if I became Mayor of Lakewood that I could work my way up to the vp in a few years..afterall we have almost 80K residents here, surely that makes me more qualified than Palin?
