One of the big toys this year is something called a Fijit Friend. They seem to be something like a more advanced Furby, and as many of you out there know, the Furby invasion was most devastating indeed

Oh fuck that's downright scary! Beware, one day they might pop up of their packagings and will want you to jam with them on their cool beats or they will destroy you.
I remember my gran wanting to offer me a Furby for christmas. I was all "No, nope, not ever". At least the Gremlin's were cute (before transforming into evil creature, of course)
...I actually have a Furby. (Its batteries have long since be removed and it's packed away in our garage, sure, but that's not to say it's doesn't still pose a threat to all of humanity.)
