Hee! I'm not familiar with the universe (have only read the blood series), but it was pretty understandable.

I don't write many crossovers like this, so I'm glad this was understandable to those who aren't familiar with the series. (Speaking of, it's an amazing series, you should give it a chance sometime. :D)

I read the blood series because it was available at the library; the smoke series isn't unfortunately. It will have to wait until I have a job before I start buying books. :D

I think Brendon would be jealous though.

That's how I read my books too, otherwise I'd always be broke. (Books are my kryptonite.) Still, foolish library for not having the smoke series. :(

They'd have to settle it with a pageant!

Vancouver would be the a center for mystical convergence, what with it being abnormally normal (except for the metric ton of film crews and actors and whatnot ;P). And it's totally cool that he hates the place; I can't stand Newark, NJ (not enough trees or green life in general *shudder*).

I have my copies of the Blood Series and the Shadow Series on the way. Yay new books!
