These pictures makes me wish for horrendously bad AUs that may or may not be worthy of being made into Lifetime movies. Or, you know, Harlequin novels. Whichever.
They talk about the most random things - except when there's some big shoe sale on somewhere and Spencer goes off on that while Brendon listens and makes faces at Ryan. Brendon comes up with the most bizarre questions he wants the listeners to call in to voice their opinion on which Disney princess would win in a cage match.
Jon has the lunch/afternoon spot right before them, but he hangs around after his show with Ryan and depending on his mood he sides with Brendon or Spencer just to rile them up.
Okay... I want the WWII one, and then I want the gunslingers, because seriously I have SUCH a thing for some guys just waltzing in being geeks and doofuses and dorky assholes and then WHAM! something happens that makes everybody realize that they've got super awesome fighter skills and can kick ass and take names with the best of them. Make this happen? I'll pay

I've had the WWII one in my head for ages, but mostly just as a GERARD'S A FIGHTER PILOT ♥_♥!
During a lull between missions little Frankie Iero is shooting some hoops with the other mechanics and some local kids and notices Gerard hanging out in the shade with this sketchpad and goes over to see what's up, you know?
Gerard looks up and smiles at him. He's tired and they've all been losing weight because they don't have sufficient supplies, there hasn't been a real break in between missions, and it's wearing them all down.
Gerard doesn't really know all that much about Frankie Iero aside from base gossip that says Frank lied about his age and that he's a Jersey boy like Gerard. (Everyone knows Frankie lied about his age, but they need guys like Frankie who knows how to get things that takes too long to go through the regular channels, and they know he'd just find a way back into the war some way or other if they sent him home. They'd rather have him where they can keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get too far in over his

Wait! I forgot! Mikey needs glasses so he can't be a pilot! his chances for survival have shot way up! (Maybe now there is a 60% chance he won't die in a horribly tragic manner!)
He comes in as a mechanic! He ends up working with Ray as part of Bob's ground crew! No one realizes he's Gerard's brother for a while because they don't look that much alike and Gerard's off on a mission when Mikey arrives so he doesn't know he's there! Shenanigans! Frank keeps talking about this new kid, who's kind of not all there, but he's an okay kid. Gerard listens to Frank telling him all about this kid and how he's kind of a klutz, but he's picking things up pretty fast and he gets this fond look on his face because he wants to meet this kid who sounds a lot like Mikey, and then more shenanigans!
Ahahaha, poor Mikey, always dies for the sake of the plot.
I bet when Gee comes back from wherever he was, Frank drags him down there to introduce them, but Gerard just stops dead in the doorway when Mikey looks up at him and Frank is just confused (maybe even a little jealous, he has never made Gerard stop dead in his tracks). And then there is hugging and Gerard being pissed and "I never wanted you to come out here / Well, it's not like you could stop me, Gerard!" conversations.
Write this one as well. Gerard with a bomber jacket (maybe in leather?) and aviators and a cigarette is my new happy place. Who knew?
