Ahaha. So this comic just makes me think of those amazingly crack-tastic fics where stealth-dating is involved or two people don't actually realize that for all intents and purposes that they've been married to their 'best friend' for years

I *love* those stories! They make me lol sooooo hard, especially the Pete/Patrick ones where Pete is the personification of cluelessness (because that's how he is in my head).

Me too, so much! They always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. How so adorably clueless, guys? I don't think I've seen more than one ficlet where Pete's the clueless one, though. the ones I've seen have Patrick as being the clueless one. Still, so cute!

I've only seen one of those stories also, now that I think about it, but it seems like there should be a lot more! PATRICK IS WAY MORE PERCEPTIVE THAN PEOPLE GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR!!!! (That is also part of my own personal canon)

Ahaha. Pete's intent on wooing Patrick and doesn't realize that Patrick is already his! (Patrick's crafty like that and just likes watching Pete driving himself crazy when his oh so smooth moves don't work! Patrick and the others have a betting pool to see how long it's going to take Pete to realize he's already married!)

I kind of love adorably clueless Patrick, but I totally agree that there's no way he's that clueless. Denial, though, is always okay, as are any of a great many romantic comedy cliches.
