Orientation

So today was orientation with the people that hired me to work for the bank. Yesterday they decided to send me all the forms that I needed to fill out for today. Gee, that was fun - 22 documents later it hurt to write my name, because everything needed my signature

Yay! Buying pretty clothes is fun! I have to dress business casual too (except for casual Fridays, which is happy day). I bought a lot of button ups, blouses, and slacks. I also have a few really great wrap dresses (that don't wrinkle!) for when the weather is nice, which is unfortunately not right now. Get yourself some good basics that go with everything and a pair of comfy comfy shoes.

Oh, definitely! Right now I'm in the market for either kahki colored slacks or brown slacks just to widen the pant options, and well tops will be easy to find after that. I have no idea what I'm going to do for shoes yet, but that'll all eventually come. I have a feeling a trip to Kohl's this weekend and possibly Lane Bryant during the week is in order! :D

I have black, gray, brown, and khaki slacks and a slew of button downs and work appropriate sweaters. I've got skirts and dresses. I've got heels. I've got boots. I've got flats (I love my ballet flats for work). The important thing is to get your basics and then when you get a better idea of the feel of the environment you can buy more stuff. Let me know how you make out!
