Orientation
So today was orientation with the people that hired me to work for the bank. Yesterday they decided to send me all the forms that I needed to fill out for today. Gee, that was fun - 22 documents later it hurt to write my name, because everything needed my signature.
I found out that the attire for the bank is business casual. I can do that. I can totally do that. I just need to find pretty comfy pretty clothes. Yes, I'm aware I said pretty twice. The clothes must be pretty comfortable and they must be pretty enough for business casual. Now, I just need to wait until the 19th to actually start work, which means that I get to go shopping for clothes, and get in all the gaming and laziness I can before I lose my life.
My iPod is slowly coming back to life. It doesn't have much on it right now, and that irks me. If I had all the space in the world I would keep my music library on my computer or hell even on my external hard drive, but seeing as all that space is needed for my awesome AMVs of AWESOME (gee, someone's been rubbing off on me). I can't have both unfortunately. So this means ripping my cd collection onto my machine one disc at a time. Oh well, it'll give me a chance to be OCD about it from the start. I am pissed though the second Lodoss War soundtrack had to be loaded wrong, because I didn't have the information in front of me to change it. At least it sticks out in my brain like some sort of sharp pointed object so I won't forget to fix it once its brethren are loaded.
My paladin is lvl 50. I have 10 lvls now to make about 150g and get my blacksmithing up to lvl 300 from 262. I think I'm screwed. But on the plus side I still love my paladin. Yesterday, Kwame and I went into Old Hillsbrad. It would have been Black Morass, but the mage and myself never did OHB, which is apparently a prereq. Oh well, it was fun. I miss instancing.
Mom ordered me a slow cooker, I'm so excited. I got my two cookbooks in the mail already. One of them is completely AWESOME. It's a lot of AWESOME recipes that only need 5 ingredients. My cooking skills have so much room to grow and cooking during the week while I'm working and commuting an hour each way will be so AWESOME. I can't wait. I'm still not sure what I will cook first. And the chances of the crock arriving tomorrow is really strong, so I might get to play with it this weekend. Squee.
And in case you didn't notice the Word of the Day is Awesome.
I've also decided that Daughtry isn't that bad. Unfortunately he sounds like a bunch of the bands that I like and that's what's drawing me in, and the fact that he doesn't sound all that different makes me sad, but knowing me I'll give into my love of the guitar. I might get the album this weekend along with the one to the Golden Compass, maybe (god it had the worst ending song ever... Lyyyyyraaaaa!). I'm in the mood for expanding my music library probably because I have to rebuild it, haha. I may pick up Imogen Heaps older albums, cause I love her stuff, I just hope the older stuff is just as good.
