well than I guess I don't mind being pouncetackled! LOL I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've noticed that my stories do have a tendency to end without ending. I say it's because life is like that but - I honestly just can't bear to think that the characters aren't going on somewhere on their own without me even after I step out of the story. So I cheat. And it seems to work ;)
LOL - I had no idea how to start the final chapter until that last sentence popped into my head ;P I'm glad it worked so well as a hook though I didn't realize until after I'd typed it out how it sounded. >:) And yeah 'Steve' and his new abilities. I was a little worried I'd made them too subtle but so far so good on everyone finding them. I doubt there will be a sequel - one because no one's told me anything once they finished telling me how to write the story and two - dang, that was a distressingly long and hard story to get to write itself - lol. I've never had such silent, unhelpful muses before. I enjoyed it but wow am I glad to be done. They're on their own now - which I think suits them just fine.
I was about to cry when I read that first sentence DDDD: and while reading the rest after, I was expecting him to croak.

I think I will cry and still laud you for evoking such a reaction XD
Well, missy, as much as the ending here got a similar tone for the Perfect Ending choice for Final Fantasy X-2, the fic does raise some questions such as: who was the friend that Cloud/Steve was hoping to win the game money for? (unless there's already an answer for this in a previous chapter that I missed ^^;; )So, does this mean that Cloud was able to achieve what Kadaj wasn't able to and became one with the internet or something? Is that how he was able to manipulate computerized items? Interesting premise

LOL - awwww, would I do that to my readers and kill their beloved Cloud off? But I'm glad the thought was there to ramp up the emotion in the story

*tacklepounces you to the ground*
*squees loudly and happily until you beg for mercy*
This is AWESOME and the PERFECT ending to the fic! I adore endings that give a resolution, yet open up the horizons of speculation - very well done!
