(no subject)
I got called into work today (oh, horrible mistake, why) and when I got home I put the Star Trek movie on because I was tiiiired and braindead and that movie makes everything better. And now I am all, "I bet Steve and Danny are somehow related to Kirk and McCoy!" and laughing myself sick because it's like. How would that even work?
All I can think of is them going back in time and meeting Steve and Danny? (Perhaps the Enterprise runs into an anomaly in space - those damn things are everywhere. I think they're the space equivalent of potholes or something.) Steve is totally not cool with this Kirk dude, okay? The guy is just annoying in all these ways Steve doesn't have the words for, and also, seems to make people want to punch him a lot. (He doesn't get why Danny thinks this is so damn funny, okay, that Steve finds some dude obnoxious and reckless and all.)
Meanwhile, Danny and McCoy are just "Oh, God, why?" and are totally not trying trying to drink themselves into unconsciousness in the hopes when they eventually wake up everything will be over. Also? Tribbles. Just. Tribbles. Somewhere.
(...And then there are jokes about whales and nuclear wessels and oh, God, I'm such a nerd.)
P.S. Kono and Uhura fighting crime? Most awesome of awesome things. Also, Chin and Spock and the horrible people in their lives. :(
