It's the middle of summer here, so naturally, we're currently having a thunderstorm, complete with pouring rain. And now, apparently, hail. Yay for living next door to Antarctica! :P

In other news, my holiday card from deeplyunhip arrived yesterday, all the way from the US. Thanks Kim! ~♥ I actually did a little squeeful dance over it, because it was so ( Read more... )

Well, we are currently having somewhat of a blizzard here in the lovely ol' midwestern state of Ohio. So yay for bad weather all around!

I also need to post/comment more :( I just get so busy with school, or I just sleep whenever I have free time...

Ooh, hope you're managing to keep warm!

I can't even say that I get busy, because I really don't, but I definitely get lazy and/or distracted by other things. And sometimes I just can't manage the effort of getting the words out of my head and onto the screen. Oh, for a psychic computer!

Turned 30 (omg, so old!).

I found myself kind of blindsided by feeling that two years ago. I wasn't expecting 30 to be a big deal... and then all of a sudden it was, and I had a bit of a third-life crisis or something, though most of it took place between when I was 29 1/2 and 30, and when I actually turned 30 I was over it already.

Good luck with your goals for the year!

I know exactly what you mean - it didn't seem so old, and then all of a sudden it feels ancient. Plus, I kinda feel like I should have a life by now - house, car, marriage, kids, job, mortgage, something. But realistically, it's really no different from being 29. And my sister has enjoyed referring to me as "nearly 30" for years XD

So glad you enjoyed (and that I managed to use the correct number of stamps)! :D

Also, I can't believe you've only just begun writing fic - if you're this awesome at it now, I can't wait to see what comes next.

Best of luck with the goals for the new year!

Oh wow, that's quite a compliment ^_^ *blushing all over the place right now*

I loved my card. I'm going to use it to prove to my parents that my internet friends are actual real people XD
