Actually we also have the interesting things that a Rockman 9 trademark (technically Mega Man 9) and such was registered -- found ironically on an Australian government site first! -- and there are still still-unnamed game listings in Capcom's E3 list.

The registry bit is especially interesting; the existence of a lot of games get leaked that way.

Well that's definitely something. =o

But it still, I don't know, feels off. Beta testing in the US and not Japan is weird, isn't it? >.>

Not if the game is being predominantly produced outside of Japan, maybe by CoA instead of CoJ.

Which would also sound weird if I didn't know that one of the Street Fighter remakes (Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, to be precise) is having all its spriting being done by Udon Entertainment. Which is an American company.

Strange things being done by Capcom ...

But then, it seems that non-Ryuusei Rockman, much like Street Fighter, is much much more important outside of Japan than in Japan. Maybe Capcom is finally smartening up?
