Summary: Remus has always been able to read Sirius’s emotions by the way he wears his hair, even though no one else seems to ever notice. But when Sirius randomly starts wearing his hair long again, Remus has no idea why he’s upset.

( Black. His hair is as black as his name, and Sirius knows this is the one thing he can never erase about his family’s claim on him. )

i want to die at that ending! that fic was AMAZING, seriously. and then you just ended and asked us to fill it in?! come on! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write the rest of it with them kissing/getting together. i beg you!!!!!!!

Quick Summary(for sanity's sake):
Well after Sirius comes out of the bathroom, they have a chat that is decidedly NOT about the fact Sirius has been crying, because, well, Sirius is Sirius and he does not cry.

Then some more of Remus freaking out, yatta yatta. Sirius is worried about Remus's mental health. They end up kissing because of some random urge, or perhaps they trip and fall on each other's lips or some silly thing like that.

Random scenes in the library, because I like the library... Possibly with James explaining that he's known that Sirius was a poof for ages but was forbidden, by Sirius, from telling the other Marauders, especially Remus. Something about James getting frustrated with Sirius's willingness to mope about and so he tells Remus that Sirius is in love with him. More of Remus freaking out in his bookish ways.

The two realize they are in love. Sirius cuts his hair--reeeeeeally short ( ... )

It was a good idea, but there was no good plot to go with the idea. I might use the idea a bit in my Animagi fic (which I'm still working on) but I need to work on my writing of romance, or else everything's going to be all lovey-dovey crap.
