I'll try to read the book! Does it say anything bad about veganism?

Also, I've noticed that habit of backsliding within myself as well, particularly when it comes to weight and drinking. I think it's because we only set ourselves up for a certain amount of time or a certain goal. Instead, we should say things like "I want to have better hygiene for the rest of my life, so I'm going to make an effort to shower every day." Or "I want to be healthy, so I'm going to exercise 3-4 times a week for the rest of my life." Then it doesn't become something that you can stop after a week or a month or a number on the scale. It becomes a part of who you are and your routine.

At the same time, though, exercising isn't a part of "who I am," much like bathing frequently isn't a part of "who you are." So, I guess you just have to change who you are to who you want to be. Which is much harder than anything else in the world, I think.

nothing bad about veganism. it's about how we need radical transparency in the marketplace. basically, how we need to know the environmental, social, and global cost of each product. for instance, did you know that buttered popcorn contains chemicals known to cause cancer? I had no idea. I know you don't eat butter (obviously) but you worked in a movie theatre (right?) so you were exposed to the fumes. and how certain colours have more lead in their paint than others.

basically, it's about learning how we need to shop smart and not just for the cheapest product, but for the most ethical product. and it's a complicated process. there are some websites I'll send your way when I have more time.

If you do not mind, I'l first write english and then russian, because I'm not sure that I express my thoughts correctly in english :)
It is rather cold here in Saint-Petersburd, and some my friends are ill too. And even if you are well, it is such a weather that you want to sit under a warm blanket on the couch and do nothing :)
How are you now? How is your mood?

I don't mind at all. My Russian is poor and needs lots of practice, so I'll enjoy reading and seeing what I can understand.

Your English is fine, by the way. The only problem I noticed is that you wrote Saint PetersburD instead of Saint PetersburG. (The letter does not need to be capitalized, I just did it for effect).

I went to the doctor today. Apparently, I have bronchitis. I am well. My mood is good. How are you? How is your mood?
