Memories and scents.

They say that scents trigger our memories. This is true for me. I started reading this book on Friday. It is a memoir of a man who grew up in my hometown during the same time I did. It was fun to see my town through his filter. It's not the same as mine but close enough that I can see myself. It got me thinking about what I remember of that time. I

Awe Thanks. I have been doing these writing prompts for practice and I decided to post one here. Glad you liked it and it worked ok.

Hope you did ok today with the snow. We picked up another 5 inches. I think we have 21 inches on the ground right now. Streets were scary this morning at 5 am but they were great when I cam home at 4pm. Had to shovel and snowblow the driveway cause the city put chunks across it.

I opted out and took a snow day. Driving in that kind of weather is too stressful for me. I'd rather have a root canal than brave the snow. Ugh...

So glad you didn't drive in that mess. Staying home is the wisest thing to do.
