Been a busy week. Because of our early close on Tuesday I spent the next 3 days working 12 hours a day to make up the time I lost. It snowed every day and finally stopped on Saturday. Ended up with 14 inches. I am in the middle of a 3 day weekend so I finally got caught up on the snow removal. Looked like the abominal snowman yesterday. Had snow

I didn't know they made that book into a movie. Was it on cable? I used to love that series but then I fell behind and didn't read any past 9, I think. I'm sorry you don't get to spend time with your friend. Hopefully you'll get to see each other soon.
I didn't know that you wrote. Have you ever posted anything?

The movie stared Kathrine Heigl. She did a nice Stephanie but the movie was a bit flat. I got the dvd for Christmas but just had time to watch it. I am a Ranger fan and the guy who played Ranger just wasn't sexy enough. I am 2 books behind on the series.
I write a lot but seldom show anyone cause most of what I write is bad. Lol. But I do it to amuse myself. I have a couple of QAF drabbles I posted.

I wrote a couple of fics (and a few drabbles) in the QaF fandom as well. I think I deleted my fics because after a few years it felt kind of strange knowing that I had written something and put it out there for every to read. I wish I was able to write a good story because I do have some good ideas, I just don't know how to get them down on paper.

Drabbles are hard for me because I am wordy. I have great story ideas but I know what you mean cause I have a terrible time getting the words down on paper. I keep composition books all over the place to jot down story ideas or character studies. I have scenes from 3 different stories. Been working on my great rock novel for almost 2 years. I figure my 3 year obsession with Adam and Tommy has given me great material to work with. :)

I hope you get more time to indulge in watching your shows and writing. :)

Got another inch of snow overnight. Need to go shovel it so Dad can go to rehab. More snow tonight. So over snow. ;P

I hate it when you look forward to seeing a movie/show or reading a book only to find it's underwhelming. I felt that way with the last Harry Potter book -- especially that epilogue.
As to your shows, I've never heard of most of them, but I do agree with you about trying to keep up with them. Usually, I just wait until the whole season's up on Netflix so I can stream it or rent the dvds. I hate waiting for new episodes (especially if there's cliffies involved) and I HATE commercials!
YAY for writing! I know how sometimes the mood (and plot bunnies) strike. It's best to roll with them. ;D

I often get disappointed at movie adaptations. Books are always better.
I am a tv addict. Lol.
I read something the other day and it said if you want to be a writer you need to write. So I am trying to do that. ;)
