[ She comes closer to him with as much grace as someone can with snow seeping into their shoes. ] Anyway, you're not using all that, are you? [ Pointing around at his outerwear. ]

The City isn’t very accommodating… dropping people unprepared for the weather into snowdrifts.

[And he was already unfastening his white cape to wrap around the young girl’s shoulders before she asked about it. He might get a little chilly but at least she would be warmer.]

Unfortunately I don’t have any better shoes for you, but if you stay on the pathways the snow isn’t as deep there. The Welcome Center near the center of the City should be able to provide you with some warmer clothes. Since you are new here, would you like for me to show you the way?

[Huey ran through his normal route through Xanadu just for the sake of giving his body a workout. Also it was better that he wasn't inside so he wouldn't be thrown off by some of his brother's statements pertaining to certain subjects.

Though he comes to a stop as he hears the girl before actually seeing her and tilting his head in confusion at her state of dress.]

This isn't a cooler, it's winter.

So obviously: ] Oh, is that like what they call this place? I guess it's better than "cooler", but it's not really creative...

The last person he seen being this dense has long since left the city and now the boy found himself about to deal with somebody who would more than likely make him want to question the intelligence of humanity as a whole.]

No, as in it's actually the season. This place is called Xanadu.

Xanadu... [ She repeats it, putting a hand to her chin, and says it again, either to think if the name's familiar or if Xanadu's a better name than "winter" or "cooler". In any case... ] How can it be winter in the middle of summer? Do they make their own seasons for this place?
