Midland
("Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland.

i went on my first *real* geology field trip yesterday. it was sweet.

well i'm here in nevada. i just got internet YESTERDAY i've been here since may 15th. i'm in a town that has two gas stations, a video rental trailor, a casino, a place that sells "really good" jerky, and a whore house. oh what fun. it's ok. i have pics when my cord gets here for my camera. later friends.

I pledged a sorority, moved three times, got the best and worst grades i've ever earned, aquired 7 fish, adopted 4 out, ridden a plane 4 soon to be 5 times, had 6 hair styles, drank enough mt dew to drown a sperm whale, got engaged, sprained my ankle, had two sets of head ct's, been sick sooooo many times, did the go down through michigan and come ( Read more... )
