I know exactly how you feel. The desire for the past, the agony of watching the world pass you by, the feeling of fundamental aloneness. You're not alone in that at all. A lot of people our age feel this.
What you need to remember is that life is your creation, a slate you must write your own story upon in your own terms. You're incredibly smart, beautiful, and talented. I'm not just saying that to make you feel better, it's the honest to God truth. You have a future out there. You already have a place in theatre and your career will only grow from there. You have a good thing goin' - a thing that many, many people would kill for. Don't ever take yourself or the opportunities that lie before you for granted. To waste what you have would be the greatest crime to yourself and the world that you could ever commit.
i'm trying so hard to hold it in that one day (besides the last times i did this) i am going to burst. i hope to god it happens BEFORE i get to interlochen. i would hate being the girl who broke down on the first day. i'm going to try so hard to come to your rehearsal tomorrow. if i dont, it's my dad. :[ kimikoglenn@cox.net
