Well, often times a lot of our family members really aren't that close to us. I know on my father's side I don't see my aunt, uncle, or cousins that much so they don't really know much about me and I don't know much about them. But that doesn't make me or you a freak of nature. More often our friends are really closer to her than our family because they are the ones we share things with and talk to. It's ok, they just don't know you. You're not a freak or overly anti-social.
