So, since all of you on this friendslist rave about it, I've finally broken down and started watching Firefly via Netflix. Yeah, between that, Zoe as Anna Espinoza on Alias and Alan Tudyk (Wash) as a European gay addict in 28 Days and Pirate Steve in Dodgeball, it does take a little getting used to.

Also, the guy who plays D'Hoffryn on Buffy is an Alliance captain. IMDB says "Along with Jeff Ricketts, Carlos Jacott and Jonathan M. Woodward, he is one of only four actors to appear in all three series created by Joss Whedon ('Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Angel' and 'Firefly'.)" So there you go then.

I never did get into Angel.

The only thing I've seen Alan Tudyk in was Dodgeball and "A Knight's Tale" and when I saw him in Serenity I wasn't sure it was him at first. I didn't know he was on Buffy at some point.

Nope, he wasn't. The actor who played Mal was and Jayne & Zoe were on Angel, though.

Got booted for Firefly? I really liked Dark Angel. and wondered why it went off the air. As far as I could tell it was quite popular.

Serenity wasn't bad, but not particularly great either...too much clashing of genres in my opinion, but it showed some promise if the writing was stronger. I added Firefly to my netflix, but I'm not expecting much from it.

We had to watch the whole series again after seeing the movie...the movie could have been stronger, but it was definatly worth the six bux.
