Summary: The strange girl just shows up on her doorstep.

There's a knock on the window, and Mark doesn't hear it because he's wired in. In fact, he probably never would have noticed at all, only there's rainbow colored hair and yellow-blue between him and his computer screen all of a sudden.

"Hi," the eyes say, "whatcha doing?"

Mark doesn't know what to say to that. The rainbow hair giggles. Mark stares some more, and yeah no. There are zero words for this situation. This is totally not happening. Mark blinks. The rainbow hair and yellow-blue eyes still exist.

"I was trying to code. You're kind of in the way."
"Oh."

The rainbow hair and yellow-blue eyes disappear, only to be replaced by floating fishes. Mark blinks.

"This is not happening."
"What's not happening?"

Mark finally turns toward the voice. There's a girl sitting on the floor next to him. Her hair is rainbow and her eyes are kind of all-knowing. It's unnerving. Mark blinks again.

"This is really not happening."
"But it is happening! Do you not like fishes? I can do b ubbles."

The fishes immediately become bubbles, and Mark closes his eyes and counts to ten. Then he opens his eyes again and yeah, no. The girl is still there. She's got her head tilted and is looking at him expectantly.

"Who are you?"
The girl giggles, "You already know who I am~ Just remember."
"I don't know you you are. How did you even get in here?"
"I used the window," she says, "you didn't lock it, so I opened it."
"We're four floors up."
"Oh, it's not that hard. The fishies carried me up. They were very helpful."

Mark stares at her and then it hits him. Maybe he does know who she is. Actually, she is kind of familiar. He just can't . . . Oh. That's it. That's her name.

"You're Delirium."
"Uh-huh. And you're Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Or was it just Mark? I don't remember."
"Just Mark," he says, "why are you here?"
"Don't remember," she blows a bubble, "just felt like it."

That's about the best answer he's going to get out of her, so Mark just goes back to coding. Occasionally, a bubble floats past him, and he doesn't really mind at all. If he's being honest, it's actually kind of soothing.
