None of what you say is inaccurate, but you did miss my larger point, which didn't have anything to do with me per se.
Sometime recently, I read something that got me to thinking about why religious people and atheist people, generally speaking, have such a difficult time communicating, having common ground. Often, this amounts to Republicans vs Democrats, but not anything like always. I commented or posted something about it somewhere.
Reading this particular entry of Adams reminded me of that again, and this point, which is additional to the previous point, which I do not actually recall.
