Gimme a sign

Traffic signs, road signs, marketing signs, bumper stickers -- I just like signage. I have seen enough travel pictures to know that you're not supposed to photograph the signs. You take pictures of the people you're with, and of the scenery, but not of the road signs. I've allowed myself to make that ridiculous rule up in my head and to feel

i saw the funniest sign in tahiti about fire emergency and exiting. my sister pointed it out to me and I did take a photo of it but this was 3 years ago, going on 4, when digital cameras that didn't have flashes still costed an arm and a leg.

basically it said .. if the room catches on fire please don't jump from the balcony (we were on the 9th floor) .. but if the hallway is on fire .. please jump from the balcony.
