I've not had much exposure to classic religious art or icons. This video montage of Jesus & Mary nursing images quite surprised me.

A New Hampshire license plate I saw the other day bore the caption "Live Free or Die."

Do you think then, that means there are no prisons in New Hampshire? Fascinating.

I have just noticed that the Bath & Body Works Tangerine Spice moisture-rich cleansing bar I'm going to use for a project here at work has pictures of either oranges or grapefruits on its packaging. Good one.

Traffic signs, road signs, marketing signs, bumper stickers -- I just like signage. I have seen enough travel pictures to know that you're not supposed to photograph the signs. You take pictures of the people you're with, and of the scenery, but not of the road signs. I've allowed myself to make that ridiculous rule up in my head and to feel ( Read more... )

My husband sighs whenever he hears another of the short, rhyming campaigns that public services are constantly coming up with. I confess, they usually irk me a bit as well.
