OMG THIS IS THE GREATEST* FILM I'VE SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!!

I know, right?!?!?! ;D

Steve’s voice is exactly the same pre and post serum,

Yeah, I agree, that was kinda O_o at first, but then you get involved in Steve's story and it just kind of fades away.

Bucky seemed pointless.

Someone who adds slashy subtext to a movie is never pointless! ;P

but uh, why was he strapped to the table?

I think, think it might have something to do with what happens to Bucky in the comics. It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see more of Sebastian Stan.

Captain doesn’t fight Nazis, he fights Hydra,

IDK, what I got from the movie is that Hydra is actually worse than the Nazis. Like Hydra is the Nazi Party amplified and on steroids.

I thought that Spider-Man is going to be in it?!?!The level of squee that would have resulted from that would have been enough to shatter eardrums in both hemispheres ( ... )

HDU! Steve/Namor OTP forevery!!!!!!!!!

They are worse but in a generic "ve vill conquver the vorld!" way, I half expected to see Doctor Insano working for them.

Or that someone's called Mr. Cage

My headcanon says that the huge black guy Thor fought to get to his hammer is pre-superhero'd Luke.

I think it's less that the producers were concerned about offending Nazis, and more that it's easier to sell toys that don't have swastikas on them.

Marvel doesn't have the film rights to use Spider-Man in any of their movies. Same deal as with the X-Men.

We live in terrible times - Captain America can't even fight Nazis anymore :/

Aw, that sucks, I was sure that Peter is going to be in there, at least as a cameo.

I loved that this film was so character-driven. That's probably why I enjoyed as much as I did. And you know, now that I think about it, I don't they did name the Howling Commandos onscreen, did they? Oh well, they were fun to watch in any event.

It was a great fun and I can't wait to see it again. I was meant to do it today before work but there are no screenings.

I KNOW RIGHT

I didn't get why it didn't get as much rave reviews, although Roger Ebert said it right -- Marvel should follow this and Iron man's type of film-making (the first Ironman, at least)

Wait, there was supposed to be a Spidey cameo? MY FAVOURITE SUPERHERO? *u*

What I liked about Captain America was how it really felt like a period piece. The ending was perfect, and it made me a bit sad and wistful too.

I wanted to see it again but couldn't. Sad forevery.

No, I thought Spidey was suppose to be part of the Avengers. He won't. Maybe at least we'll get Luke, Jessica or Carol.

They actully released the ending online. You can watch it on Youtube. You can see the Wicked poster in the background! :D
