I am debating the advisability of getting a second job. It didn't work out too well last year, due to added stress making a mess of my primary job. However, we could definitely use the money. And I'm kinda miffed at my current workplace, too.

Ok, I do have a reasonable amount of patriotism. But fireworks just aren't all that much fun when you don't have little kids around. I became rather disilusioned with them a few years ago--though that was probably due at least in part to a bout of depression caused by loosing jobs in early July. Thursday is the end of the 'week' at work, which means payday and the end of calculations for commission for the week. I did well enough this week, back at average. At the end of the day, I wonder why I bother to wear makeup. No one really seems to notice that I wear it, and it seems more of an inconvenience than anything else.
