NaNoWriMo Complete!
My bar turned green! I have completed the challange of writing 50,000 words in 30 days! Actually, I've done even better! It's only the 15th day, and I have more than 50,000 words! Pretty good for a first try with no planning, don't you think ( Read more... ) -

So I decided to try NaNoWriMo this year. No, I wasn't orginally planning to do it, and I'm not working on the novel that's been kicking around in my head and sometimes coming out in bits and spurts since 9th grade. Cookies
Ok, so it finally cooled off enough to bake today, mostly because it's raining....I wouldn't quite say that it's pouring, but it's sorta close...definately raining enough to keep me in the house. The cookies will probably be great, just...a little gooey ( Read more... ) -
Blue floors, white walls....and a lot of empty.
My world has sort of collapsed in on me. Now it's mostly just the blue floors and white walls of my 1 bedroom apartment...I rarely go anywhere. To sleep....or not.
Being out of work REALLY messes up my sleep schedual. Well, I always had kind of a funky sleep schedual to begin with--most people wouldn't consider "I need to be at work for 10am" to be all that early, and an 8am meeting is generally not considered "really really early". Ok, so it took me several tries and I finally finished with only about 2 lives left, after having gotten at least that many 1ups, but I DID it! I BEAT world 1-1 of the Super Mario Bros. Wii! *^_^* -
Writer's Block: Mirror, mirror
Well it was bad luck to break the mirror in the first place, but I honestly think I'd be more worried about cleaning up the broken glass and replacing the mirror than anything else.
It feels a little weird to walk under a ladder--and there are reasons not to, but I don't really have a problem with it too much if there's no one ON the ladder. ( Read more... ) -
