Well, it has been a long time since I updated. I have been in Germany for over a month, now, and I am “lovin’ it!” I found a gorgeous duplex in a small village not 10 minutes from my office. Well, I have made my reservations; I fly out on the 23 May! It's hard to believe that it is only about five weeks away. I am so excited! I plan on visiting family and friends just about every weekend between now and then. Time will fly!

I finally received my PCS orders yesterday! It is all official now. My orders give me an effective date of 1 June 2006. So, I will leave for Germany within seven days before or seven days after that date. I am so excited ( Read more... )

Well, I finally have my new roof. It only took me six months to get it looked at, get an estimate, and contact my insurance company. But it was worth it! Now I just need to clear up the leak stains in the bathroom. Man ( Read more... )
