I'm going to go "blah" about a bunch of things, at length and in no particular order unless I accidentally got them chronologically, so I'll play nice and put most of the lengthy bits under cuts.

1. Beltane (April 30 - May 2) was pretty awesome.

Great minds think alike: I too made brownies recently,and they had cinnamon,too. They're called Mexican chocolate brownies,and indeed they use Mexican chocolate discs. I used about 1 T.cinnamon,2 tsp.of the excellent vanilla I bought in Paplanta,cut them into triangles,and froze them. Delicious!
