A year of Big Finish

I looked back at my old posts and it seems I started posting about Big Finish in Feb 2014. Big Finish was a huge part of my 2014 fandom. I started listening to 2nd Doctor stories but eventually moved onto other Doctors. And throughout the year I listened to an hour of Big Finish almost every week day

I picked up both "The Jigsaw War" and "The Selachian Gambit" at the convention, per your recommendations and also because they look really fun. You know that I'm a procrastinator though, so I haven't gotten around to listening to them. We have a Half Price Books and I picked up "Blood of the Daleks Part One," and I did listen to that. I loved it and got the rest of Series One of the 8th Doctor, minus the 3rd and 4th stories/CDs because they didn't have them.

As for upcoming stories, I'm most excited about "Little Doctors" [and the rest of the Short Trips], Jamie and Zoe reuniting with Six, and the Second Doctor Early Adventures. I hope they have information on the 4th Doctor/Jamie soon, because I keep forgetting about that one.

I hope you enjoy them and I love Lucie Miller, such a great character. Sheridan Smith is terrific in the role.

I actually mainly buy the downloads directly from the Big Finish website and skip the CDs because they are cheaper and for space issues. I have a few CDs either bc I got them cheaply or because I wanted to get them signed.

The 4th Doctor Jamie story is called Return to Telos it;s also unclear to me if Jamie will be in the 1st part of the story as well but it is a two parter The Fate of Krelos. The story is connected to Tomb of the Cybermen. I kind of doubt it will be the real Jamie, probably a projection of him left over somehow.

I like how Lucie is very spunky-- some people have compared her to Donna and I can definitely see that connection.

True, it would be nice to have the CDs but the downloads are significantly cheaper and they would take up less space once burned. I would like to have all my Second Doctor stories that I pick up, on CD if I can afford them.

Oh, I hope it's the real one! Regardless, it will be interesting to see the dynamics between Jamie and 4. Lots of Second Doctor/Jamie/Zoe goodness coming out this year! :D
