I feel the same way about Japan! Though, unfortunately I haven't been to any other countries yet. Nonetheless, as much as I do want to go other countries eventually, for now I just want to continue going back to Japan several times. I agree with the points you listed, they're all spot-on. There are a lot of nice things about Japan and I feel like there are still so many things I want to do and see there!

I would love to go to Japan so much. Your post makes me want to all the more, especially the mentions of it being inexpensive and feeling safe there. There are some cultures that just seem to make me feel right at home. The Celtic lands are among them, and that's probably because I have Celtic blood. But Japan is another, and I'm not fully sure why. I think I was always kind of fascinated by the Oriental lands, even before I got into anime.
