Jamie is definitely a great companion, and my favorite after Martha Jones. Of course, I haven't seen much Who, only having gotten into it late last August, but I don't see anybody being better than them.

Well like I said Sarah Jane is also one of my favorites. There is a reason she constantly tops fan polls. :)

Hehe, Two was "that Doctor" for me, too--the "where have you been all my life?" Doctor. And he, too, was the first Doctor I bought DVDs for.

Like Hogan's Heroes, it was the interactions between Two and Jamie that made me fall in love with that era. Those two have something very special, and I love seeing/hearing them interact.

I think Zoe is my favorite of the female companions; she serves as an interesting contrast to Jamie. And yes, a teasing sibling relationship with Jamie (and the Doctor!), not unlike our favorite trio of Heroes...

Perhaps it is something about mid to late 60's television. XD

Two and Jamie really have such terrific chemistry, they are a joy for me to watch and I think that is what made me fall in love with Two's era.

I like that Twp and his companions had a real family unit. And I know it can be repetitive but I also enjoy the base under seige stories that were very much part of Two's era. They had a great tension to them, but then they also didn't shy away from humor. So for me his episodes have the perfect mixture of tension, fun, and cuteness from the Doctor/Companion interactions.
