1) So while I feel the Golden Globes are even more worthless than the Oscars I was actually quite pleased with the results. My 3 favorite movies of 2011 all won major awards ( Read more... )

Ha Ha Yes...funny thing is I finally started to watch Doctor Who to see John as the master but then I became a fan of the series in general. XD

But OMG you are watching Life on Mars ♥ hope you enjoy it. It's one of my absolute favorites.

I know you aren't a fan of twitter. I am the opposite of you I wish more people I admired were on there. Right now I only follow 4 "celebrities" off the top of my head (Moffat, Gatiss, Gaiman and now Simm). If I could understand Japanese I would follow more. John is trying to get Phil to join (so if he does I'll follow him too). But most celebrity twitter accounts don't really interest me at all.

But I really enjoy Simm's tweets. They aren't anything profound but they are usually amusing and it just makes me happy to hear from him directly more often. I think he joined because of a combination of having his wife & a lot of friends on there & the fact that he wants to have a voice that is outside the media. So far I think he is being responsible about it but he seems to be enjoying it at the same time (as he said he is surprised himself).

I'm dreading S2 of Mad Dogs to be honest. I mean, S1 was surprisingly decent, but it's still not something I'd like him to make more of :-/ Oh well, what can you do, at least it's something new ( ... )

I think John also just enjoys doing Mad Dogs: it's in a nice location and he's off with his friends. I mean I find it funny that John & Phil are like "we do work" in an interview. It's like yeah of course but it's fun work. And I guess it's a big hit for Sky One.

Aww I am really sorry to hear that about the website (and whatever you went through). It was such a nice site. :(
