Oct 11, 2011 20:38

I've been meaning to do this post for awhile but I didn't have the time till now. Maybe I should have waited until after the 4th season aired but I guess I will just have more favorite episodes then.

I recommended this series to both rose_of_pollux & Marie1964 but they never listen to me so I thought maybe this post would spark their interest or someone else's who has ( Read more... )

D'aaaaaaw, I'll look into it when I have the time/chance. Faye's been trying to get me into Perry Mason, too. XD

We'll See XD

But you did say you were interested in watching more anime. I think this is a good series to start with it's very relaxing and heavily focused on friendship.

Episode 8: Fleeting Light

This I think is my #1 fave Natsume epi. This one made me cry. The ending...oh gah just thinking about it makes me sad.

All the other ones rank up there too, you picked some good ones!

Fleeting Light is definitely one of the best episodes of the series. It actually reminds me a lot of Midorikawa's short story Hotarubi no Mori E (well it has the same feel).

Plus I love how Natsume is faced with the possibility of losing his ability and what they would really mean for him (after all that time he spent wishing he did lose it).

The episode worked so well on a lot of levels.

And I need to finish Steins Gate so I can read & comment on your thread. :)

This does have the touch of the supernatural that I enjoy so much...

Yep but the supernatural aspect is very Japanese so it's not something you would be used to seeing here. Actually many of the stories have a Japanese folklore feel.

If you are interested I can show you where to watch. :)

You can watch here. It looks like you can watch without joining the site but there are commercials. Joining is completely free though.

The episodes are in Japanese with subtitles.
