My thoughts on the upcoming fall anime season

Well it looks like the top 3 popular series are Last Exile, Guilty Crown and Hunter X Hunter

Aw, you didn't like Last Exile? Shaaame! Hahaha, no, we all have our individual tastes, it's fine. :) I didn't know Maaya was doing the theme until now--eee! I should have asked at the panel at Anime Expo what the OP/ED were going to be but of course I never think of these things until long after the cons are over.

I'll check things out, but I usually wait until they're over or I get a shining recommendation. I have trouble keeping up with series week-to-week, and I prefer marathons because once I start a series I'm on a roll.

Well I know so many people loved Last Exile so I do feel like I am the odd one out. XD

Maaya is also singing the OP to Tamayura Hitose. She's been busy lately and then there is the marriage. I am happy for her. And Maaya singing an OP is always a great thing in my book.

I enjoy watching things week by week because it is fun to discuss the show with other fans as it airs but I definitely can't keep up with everything so I also look for recommendations. When fall finally comes my watch list will probably be very different...it always is. XD

Yay I am not alone (because sometimes I feel like I was the only one who didn't like it). I thought Last Exile started out alright but I didn't really like what it turned into. And by the end I wasn't sure what I was watching. lol

And I was never a big fan of Gonzo. The only series I like that they did was Gankutsuou.

Tamayura it sounds nice, but I don't know the studio at all...

I am thinking the studio might be newish. The staff involved are definitely veterans though. I was reading opinions about the OVA and they were very mixed with some people finding it really charming and other people finding it very boring. So we will see.
