And double posting today!

1) For me this is the best season of anime in a long time, 3 episodes in and I am loving every show I am watching (well except maybe No. 6 but that is a fun guilty pleasure).

Episode 3 of Ikoku Meiro no Croisee was great (it was just licensed too) and 3rd episode of Natsume Yuujinchou ranks up there with my favorite ( Read more... )

Wow, that second picture is absolutely stunning! Such beautiful artwork. :)

Well, you know me and horror/supernatural films. ;) I've seen both Vincent Price movies that you named, Freaks, the original Jekyll and Hyde in silent, Frankenstein and all the classic Universal monster movies (including many of the sequels), Night of the Living Dead, Nosferatu, and the original Phantom of the Opera with Lon Chaney Sr. Though, I am looking forward to seeing The Body Snatcher, which I haven't seen yet. Sounds like October is going to be a very good month for movies.

Lily Hoshino designed the characters for the series so at the end of each episode she does a little drawing. This was my favorite so far but we are only 3 episodes in to a 24 episode series.

I've actually seen most of those movies too but not the Vincent Price ones, Body Snatchers, or Night of the Living Dead.

And I have seen most of the major Universal horror films except the Mummy, but sadly they are not playing that. Although besides Frankenstein they will be airing the Wolfman.

Jekyll & Hyde is not the silent version but the one from the 1930's. It is actually my favorite version of the story comparing it to the silent & 1940's version. I definitely recommend it.
