I've gotten incredibly behind on the new season of Doctor Who, but I'm glad to hear that you like him so well! I had my doubts initially but I've heard a lot of positive feedback about him.

Also, that girl was absolutely adorable! <3 It made me wish I was bilingual too.

I always wished I could speak another language, it was just never one of my strong points.

And Matt Smith definitely exceeded my expectations. XD

OMG she's cute. :D

It's really good that her dad keeps speaking to her in English though, so she could remember the language. I was around her age when I went to live in Japan and by the time I came back to America a few years later, I had to learn English all over again. >_>;

It is amazing to me that she can go back and forth like that so easily but I heard it is easier for children (I actually know of these little girls who can speak English, Russian, & German fluently). I think it is great that her parents communicate with her in both Japanese & English and I hope she will be able to retain them.

Well even if you lost one I am glad you can now speak & read both . :)

I always wanted to learn another language but I was just never very good at it (I took Spanish in HS, French in College). I always got A's in all my classes but that was because I was good at reading/writing but when it came to communication/listening I was horrible. I just think I never had the confidence. I wish I had learned when I was a child.

I also sort of wish I had taken Japanese because I feel maybe with being into anime I might have had an easier time. But I got into anime after I had a year or so of French in college and I didn't want to backtrack (and well I do love French too, my professor was amazing).
