Although I am a little late to the party I finally saw "How to Train Your Dragon". Although I missed seeing it in IMAX and only got to see it in 3D which was still nice but I bet those flying scenes would have been really cool to see in IMAX ( Read more... )

Cool!! I've been wanting to see it but haven't had a chance to yet, but almost everyone else I've talked to who's seen it has liked it.

edit 2: But apparently Dreamworks already plans to ruin it by turning this film into a franchise and making a sequel.

Yeah it's a fun movie so I definitely recommend it. :)

I think I am just so wary of sequels because they barely ever turn out good but I guess if there are other books in the series there is a chance this sequel can be an exception. And since it is not coming out until 2013 they have time to make it right. Maybe I will remain cautiously hopeful.

I think is one of the best films I've seen in 2010. I don't know, I think it all worked perfectly - and it had an amazing sense of wonder, which sorely lacking in most of the american cinema today.

Well I haven't seen many films in 2010 to compare but I definitely did enjoy this one. Since it was Dreamworks I probably would have ignored it except it was getting such good reviews. I am really glad I saw it. :)
