I remember seeing your post and I had to force myself not to read it so I wouldn't be spoiled (but I just looked and joined the fanlisting you made which I think is awesome ♥)
I guess with Cross Game I would have loved more slice of life scenes over baseball scenes (since I do prefer those slice of life moments) but I definitely think those last few minutes between Kou & Aoba were just perfect. Even after watching it just thinking about those scenes makes me go DAWWWW!
I don't think the slightly disappointing ending ruins the wonderful journey
I totally agree with you. The ending wasn't even bad per say I just wanted a bit more. And I think you are right about Ninomiya having to rush through the ending with the anime & live action movies on the way. Darn publishers!
I still think I look like an idiot for watching this series because of OMG BASEBALL and FRIENDSHIP, but I don't really care anymore :P
