Doesn't matter how hot Father gets, I still hates his guts with all my being. (Like Naraku who wouldn't freaking DIE) God they over power the bad guys FAR too much.Give the good guys a break. >_>
Even so, I would still take Father over Naraku any day. At least he is a believable and villain who makes some logical sense as opposed to whatever it was that was Naraku.
Yeah I think Father is a great villain, Whereas Naraku for me is one of the worst.
Don't get me wrong I think Takahashi has created a lot of great characters in all her different series but Naraku is not one of them. Well I think Takahashi is better at characters that will make you laugh than long term evil villains (in her shorter works her villains work better).
I don't know why people are being so pessimistic. This is a shounen adventure story. I don't think it would end with "And all the people the characters love and care for are now dead" The End!
Yeah I am really looking forward to the explanation. I hope we get some good bits on Truth especially before the end. :)
Well quite honestly I think half the fandom wants a sad ending because it would be so much "cooler" and "realistic", which it wouldn't be either of these things of course. :/
Yeah, no way it's going to end with everyone dead. That would completely go against the tone of the whole manga! I just can't wait for the next chapter now, though!
Yeah, this chapter didn't alarm me so much because you know that things will work out and the situation will somehow be reversed. How you put it really makes sense and I'm pretty sure you're on the right track!
I felt bad for the characters but overall I am more excited about what's coming next and how they will defeat Father (because I know they will) than being alarmed. :)
I can't be disheartened, because a doom and gloom ending is never what this manga was going to give me, and this is nowhere near being over.
I have long since realized that fandom does not understand the idea of nuance, you don't need a deus ex machina to return the souls, because canon!logic hasn't been violated. You don't need to open the gate to get to the souls, but whatever, fandom is collectively idiotic at times.
I am not disheartened at all either. I mean I might feel bad for the characters but of course I know they will pull through and kick Father's ass. And actually as sad as this chapter was I also thought it was pretty exciting to finally see father's plan come to fruition.
