I was thinking of naming John Simm as well (who is definitely my favorite contemporary actor) but I can't say he's a 2009 discovery like the others so I left him out.

I am disenchanted with most modern films as well (except for animation lol). Although I don't want to write all modern movies off because I do still enjoy some. There are not many modern actors or actresses I like though.
But John Simm is a British actor so even if you watch newer movies you might not know who he is because he doesn't work for Hollywood thankfully. :)
Yeah there are some parts I enjoy about Brotherhood but a lot of it makes me angry. I could just be over critical but I can't help it I love the manga too much. :)
I don't even dislike Winry so much in the 1st anime but she is certainly better in the manga....that's true for all the characters though. XD
