So the links did work and I finished the series in 2 days. It would have been 1 day but I had work the next day and I needed to sleep. So yeah I loved it (maybe even more than Doctor Who..at least in some aspects) and I am ecstatic that there is going to be a second season ( Read more... )

The relationship between Sarah Jane and Luke is so adorable every time they hug or he calls her mum I squee.

While I like the idea of Alan/SJ I think I like SJ staying single more. Just because there aren't a lot of great single characters on TV like her. :)

You're making me want to rewatch it now! I hate that a DVD box set is not even planned yet :(

That's a shame they really should release this on DVD. Well of course it will be available in R2 way before it is available in R1 if it ever is

And for Duchovny's blog I am sure it will be professional, whether the fans will be is another question.

Oh...I left a dorky comment too XD Actually I stayed pretty restrained since I wanted to see Id been in love with him since moment I laid eyes on him and had unhealthy obsession with the X Files back in the day. Didnt say that ^^;;

Ooo you changed your layout. I like it mostly since I have the black/grey vers.

I was totally like I loved the show since I was 11 in the first season. I am such a dork. But then I am sure he is used to this stuff. And I am sure he has encountered real crazy stuff that our gushing cannot compare to. XD

I just noticed you have the gray/white text boxes too. I was getting bored of my old one which I had forever so I finally changed it. :)

The Sarah Jane Adventures is completely fab and so much better than Torchwood. I can't wait for the second season. That and New Captain Scarlet are the best British children's shows in like, ten years.

I think Pyramids of Mars is a good'un if you want a great example of classic Fourth Doctor/Sarah material that isn't too long (it's about 90-ish minutes in all). Actually almost anything from that season (13) is pretty awesome anyway, but that's a good starting point. Failing that you could always go with season 12's brilliant Genesis of the Daleks as it's the first appearance of Davros and all, and does what it says on the tin in regards to the Daleks.

Ooh I didn't know you watched Sarah Jane too. That makes me happy. :)

And thanks for the classic Sarah Jane recommendations I think I will look for them when I come home from work tonight.

Oh I do, I watch everything Doctor Who-related, even if I sometimes regret it (not in Sarah Jane's case, though!). Out of interest, what was your favourite story? If pushed it'd probably be either Eye of the Gorgon and Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane, but I just can't choose between the two.

I really hope you enjoy Classic Who - I think you will. It's a bit different but it's also the same, if you get my drift. Don't expect Oscar-winning special effects (although I think they're fine for the time period and budget), but do expect good stories, scripts and characters, wit, atmosphere and imagination. All the important things.

Well as far as Classic Doctor Who I already saw the Master's first appearance with 3 since Hamsterfactor uploaded it. And I enjoyed the wackiness of it. But then I enjoy the Master. XD

As for my favorite story is SJA gosh that is a tough one. I do really like the two you mentioned and I also enjoy the final arc a lot (even though it has the Slitheen, well at least they took out the farting parts).
