ZOMG Baccano

I finally finished the specials and they were amazing. They had pretty much everything I loved about Baccano exciting action sequences, great character moments, and a combination of moments that made me tear up and laugh. What else can you ask for in a story?

I don't think I've seen so many well writing canon romantic pairings since Fullmetal

The extras were amazing, they managed to squeeze so much into three episodes without it looking forced. And Graham finally made an appearance! I was looking forward to him a lot and yet he exceeded my expectations.

Yeah OVA extras are usually stupid and pointless but they managed to still make these amazing and have a lot of extra plot and character moments.

Same! I love the characters way too much to not want more of them. I wish I could read Japanese so I could read the novels. But sadly they will probably never get translated.

But the novels are getting translated bit by bit! You can find them at BakaTsuki but the updates are slightly faster and more frequent at the Baccano comm. Doesn't beat reading it on paper but it's better than nothing?

Oh wow thanks I didn't know they were translating Baccano. Admittedly I don't like reading novels online but I might make an exception with Baccano (I did with Haruhi). :)

Nice/Jacuzzi are my favourite. They're just so sweet.

Baccano! is brilliant. It needs to get licenced as soon as possible because I WANT DVDs, damnit.

I think Miria/Isaac are my favorite couple because they are so unqiue and original but Jacuzzi is my favorite character. But really I love them all. :D

And if by chance if someone on my FL has not already watched this what the hell are you waiting for?

The cast is too large, too many names and faces to remember D: I watched one episode and was left completely confused, so it turned me off.

edit: Okay I think I sounded too obsessive but basically give it another chance. It's confusing at first on purpose but as you watch more episodes things start to make sense and by the end it all comes together perfectly.

As for the number of the characters I was worried about this at first too but I have never seen another series develop so many characters so perfectly in such a short time. You don't remember them after the first episode but by the last episode I promise you will remember them all.

You are planning on watching a lot of really good stuff so I am not even sure what to say to watch first. You will enjoy them all. :)
