ZOMG Baccano

I finally finished the specials and they were amazing. They had pretty much everything I loved about Baccano exciting action sequences, great character moments, and a combination of moments that made me tear up and laugh. What else can you ask for in a story?

I don't think I've seen so many well writing canon romantic pairings since Fullmetal

This was pretty much my mental reaction after I watched episode 16 earlier in the week. Claire is such a dork. XD

I think this is one of the few series out there where I love every character in some way and I also love all of the pairings. The ending just put a smile on my face. :)

It looks like they're setting things up for the Alcatraz part of the novels judging from what Ladd was asking the guards about Huey. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll make another season, there's a ton of material left for them to work with.

I'm kind of confused as to why the series isn't licensed yet. But now that I think of it, each DVD comes with a light novel. So I can imagine that the licensing fee isn't going to be cheap and also the cost to produce it will be higher than other releases. Hopefully somebody will think it'll be worth the cost and bring it over. >_>

Yeah I never expected Claire to turn to adorkable. I was like Daww the whole time. XD

I don't think we would get the DVD light novels here as extras even if the anime was licensed. A lot of times Japanese fans get extra stuff like that we don't. I am still hoping for license of the anime at one of the big summer cons this year like AX or Otakon but I don't know maybe the anime is too expensive and that is hurting its chances. :(

And yeah there is so much they can do for a second season. Even though the anime was tied up nicely it still left room open for another season so I am keeping my fingers crossed. :)
