Good news, bad news... my dad's wrist is haling fine; the tumor in dog's paw grew back and last time vet said that in this case the only option is amputation. I'm doing ok in work, although one of my students needs lobotomy rather than school. Writing thesis sucks, looks like I won't get my masters before September. I should be writing the text to

I'm glad that your dad is doing okay now. The poor doggie though. That must be the worst case scenerio for the puppy. And..uh are you sure the student needs a lobotomy? That's just a tad drastic, but I don't know the kid so I can't be sure if you're teasing or serious. But just the idea of it. *cringes*
