Good news, bad news... my dad's wrist is haling fine; the tumor in dog's paw grew back and last time vet said that in this case the only option is amputation. I'm doing ok in work, although one of my students needs lobotomy rather than school. Writing thesis sucks, looks like I won't get my masters before September. I should be writing the text to

As for the dog - we're not sure what to do with him. He's small (9 kg) but we live on the second floor which means we would have to carry him up and down for a walks if his leg would be amputated. Added to that, his heart is BIG - 1,5x size of normal heart 0_0 and he's not getting any medicine for that. The previous operation was a risk for him, we're not sure what another one would do to him (and he should have his prostate removed too -_-;). On the other hand - he's still relatively young (only 11 years old) and such a sweet, full of life, lovely, aggressive, cuddling and cute little rogue... we don't want to put him to sleep. ;_; Decisions, decisions...
Ok, maybe not lobotomy - try the most strict part of the army first. -_- Imagine a 17 years old young man who is in the same class as the 13 years old one. The 17 years old is absent for the half of the time and when he's in class he's saying:
"NOOOO!! I doooOOOOnt wanna DOOOOOOOOOO ITTTT!!!" *throws the books on the table* or "but it's stuuUUUUUUUUUpid" *closes the notebook and keeps it that way for the rest of the lesson* or "why do you ask about it?" or "I don't know ! I DON'T CARE! LEAVE ME ALONE!" or *singsLOUDLY* me: please, stop singing, you're disturbing me and... he: *singing is LOUDER*... (list goes on :P)
And his IQ is normal, he's 100% healthy. Or so they say. -_-; If he wants he cant work pretty well - but he wanted only twice. XD
I watched most of the shows 15-5 years ago, some of the current ones I watched on the net cause only the one-two seasons were on TV. :)

Well, that does explain a lot of things. I still say poor puppy, but I understand the situation better than I did. It's hard making decisions for beloved pets. My cat had to be put to sleep after she was diagnoised with a tumor for the second time after the first one was removed and the vet said it would keep coming back no matter what we did, plus it was starting to attack her lungs and we had no choice but to put her to sleep. I still some times think she's around, but she's buried in the back yard instead now. *sniffs*
Hmm, sounds like an attetion getter kid. My brother has a kid that was supposed to graduate two years after I did, but was so lazy he has to be in his kid brother's grade instead and it sounds exactly like him the way you described the student in your class. My child in society professor would tell me to ignore the kid until he stops or isolate him from the rest of the kids until his behavior changes. Of course, the behavior could get worse and I don't want that to happen to you either. But if that happens is there some way for you to get a teacher or principal to sit in the class next to him just to see if his behavior changes. The one class I observed had the principal stop in whenever this one student was there just to make certain he did something while he "stopped in" just so the kid would behave. I wish you the best of luck with him though. If bopping him with a mallet were legal I'd suggest doing that to him first and foremost. *evil grin* *HUGS*
